| Refugio El Chileno | Before reaching the last ascent towards the base of the Towers, you can find the "Chileno" mountain lodge. If you're thinking of rising at dawn in order to see the first rays of the sun hit the granite rock turning them into an intense red, it is ideal to sleep in the Chileno and leave before the sun rises. It is located near Ascencio River, in between two mountains about a two hour trek from Refugio Torres. |
